• I utilize my decades of experience in the Information Technology industry and being a student of human behavior to provide recommendations to help optimize your organization. Recommendations may include changes to business process, management style, technology solutions, training programs or many more possible solutions. Even if the right choice is a service I do not provide, I will recommend it because my goal is to create business value for your organization. Microsoft Shop DevOps Transition
- The DevOps world is well defined in the web development/ open source stack world but it is less clear how that is to be achieved using an existing Microsoft infrastructure.
- Most often the culture the overall organization has to start to change toward a new way of thinking about technology to fully realize the benefits of DevOps. This can be a daunting task and I can help with an incremental approach that is not overwhelming.
- Even if you have no in house Developers there are critical skills to be gained from the DevOps movement. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is the future of IT systems management. You do not have to be developing internal applications to utilize IaC.
- Change on this scale happens incrementally and not overnight. Organization trust must be built around the principles of DevOps. There are many small ways I can help you move toward a more DevOps style IT environment utilizing the technologies and system you already have in place.
